HRS holds first Managing Employee Performance Workshop


IRRI's Human Resource Services (HRS), in partnership with Guthrie-Jensen Philippines, holds the Managing Employee Performance Workshop on 27-28 January 2014 at IRRI headquarters.

Piloted this year, the Managing Employee Performance Workshop is a 9-module program customized for IRRI that aims to develop the people handling skills of supervisors and enable them to understand the value and benefits of performance coaching as an important factor in preparing the Institute's future leaders.

Ten HQ-based nationally recruited staff attended the 2-day workshop. Participants were Rogelio Alvarez Jr., (CIO-ITS), Ma. Soccoro Arboleda (TC), Regina Mendoza-Armiendo (DHRS), Rosemarie Caballero (ICRAF), Rogelio Cabunagan (PBGB), Marileth Enriquez (DER), Wenceslao Larazo (PBGB), Lilia Molina (GQNC), Mercy Samia (PBGB) & Lina Torrizo (PBGB).

The workshop was facilitated by Angela Palenzuela & Art Cruz, managing consultants at Guthrie-Jensen, a management training and consultancy firm in the Philippines. They previously held series of workshops at IRRI headquarters such the Effective Presentation Skills and Effective Business Writing.
