Conflict management workshop held

IRRI holds Conflict Management Workshop in partnership with ​Guthrie-Jensen Consultants Inc., on 3​-​4 September 2014 at headquarters.

The 2-day workshop was attended by 14 HQ-based staff including Deacart Don Arreza (RMQA), Rogelio Cabunagan (PBGB), Princess Lilia Dela Cruz (ES), Rosalinda Del Rosario (DGO), Joyce Finegan (HRS), Rhea Gonzales (GQNSL), Jennine Rose Lapis (GQNSL), Patrick Lumanglas (PBGB)​, Jhoana Opeña​ (CESD), Julie Mae Pasuquin (CESD), Jastin Jocelyn Pacia (PBGB), Edrian Revilleza (PBGB), Margeorie Vasquez (HRS), and Gina Zarsadias (SSD).

​The training consists of nine modules focused on taking advantage of conflict as a positive force to iron out issues in the workplace, strengthen relationship, deal with conflict successfully, feel in control of one’s emotions and behavior, apply more productive ways to handle and manage conflict, and respond to conflict positively and skillfully so it does not interfere with one’s personal success or the organization’s business goals.

The training was facilitated by Angela Palenzuela-Cruz​,​ training consultant at Guthrie-Jensen.​
